Candidates can either accept and choose upward movement, decline and select upward movement or opt out of the counselling session. Candidates must affirm their choice of whether they will be taking the seat to prevent seat cancellations. Candidates must confirm their allotted seats by 14 August 2024 up to 5 PM. The provisional allotment list for round 2 will be released on 15 August 2024.
This counselling is conducted for the candidates who are interested to take admission into government, government-aided engineering colleges, seats surrendered by the central government institutions, Central Electrochemical Research Institute (CECRI), Karaikudi, Central Institute of Plastic Engineering and Technology (CIPET), Chennai, Indian Institute of Handloom Technology(IIHT), Salem, Anna University, and Annamalai University.
The candidates who will accept the seats must download the allocation letter, report to their designated institutes, complete the admissions process, and pay the applicable costs. However, this can be done after the TNEA final seat allotment results have been declared. The final seat allotment result is expected on 23 August 2024.
The Selected candidates will have to report to their designated college with the necessary documents after the seat allocation. The application cost must be paid by the candidate. The TNEA 2024 supplementary counselling will be commenced from 6 to 8 September 2024, followed by the SCA to SC counselling on 10 and 11 September 2024.
