PSEB Class 10th Result 2024: The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is all set to declare the Class 10 board exam results 2024 today. Students who appeared for the same will be able to download their results by visiting the official website i.e. pseb.ac.in. 

This year, the Punjab Board Class 10th exam was conducted from February 13 to March 6 at 3,808 examination centers. 2,97,048 candidates appeared in the Punjab Board class 10th exams. 

Students are advised to keep their admit card ready as they will require their login credentials like roll number, application number, date of birth, or password to check the Punjab board class 10th results.  

The Punjab Board will release the results for class 10th by holding a press conference. The passing percentage and topper’s list will be declared in the conference only. After declaring the result the result link will be activated on the official website of the board. 

Students may note that they will receive their mark sheets from their respective schools only. The result will be available in the online medium on the website. To pass the PSEB Class 10th exam, students will need to score a minimum of 33 percent in each subject.

PSEB Class 10th Result 2024: Previous Year Trend 

Last year, the overall pass percentage of Punjab Board 10th students was 97.54%. A total of 2,81,327 students appeared in the Punjab Board Class 10 exam 2023 of which 2,74,400 were declared as passed by the board.

  • Firstly candidates need to visit the official website i.e. pseb.ac.in.

  • Then click on the “Result” tab available on the home page.

  • Now click the ‘Matriculation Examination Result March 2024’.

  • Log in using the credentials.

  • Candidates can download the result and take a printout for future reference.

Punjab Board 10th Result 2024 Live: The Punjab School Education Board will be releasing the PSEB class 10th result 2024, tomorrow 18 April (4 p.m.), on their official website i.e. pseb.ac. 


Candidates must note that the result link will be made available a day after on 19 April, 2024. Students are adviced that the students awaiting their class 10 results should keep their roll number, application number, and registration number at hand, in order to get their Punjab Board 10th result. 


The board will hold a press conference to reveal the top scorers, the overall pass rate, and details regarding the compartment exams and scrutiny. A total of 297,048 applicants took the Punjab Board test this year. 3,808 exam centres were used to administer the test.

KVS Admission 2024-25: The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has released the provisional admission list for Class 2 and above. Students or parents may note that the KV admission 2024-25 list has been hosted on the respective school’s official websites. To check the qualifying status of the admission parents need to check the name and roll number in the list. 

According to the official notification, “This admission list is provisional. The name in this list does not confer any Right to Admission and is subject to verification of all Original certificates and fulfillment of eligibility criteria, as notified in KVS admission guidelines.”

Parents may note that the KVS Class 2 admission process will continue till 29 April 2024. The last date for admission for all classes, except Class 9, is decided as 29 June 2024. Also if the documents are found to be fabricated or fake the admission offer will be canceled for that particular student. 

To confirm the admission in the same students need to score a minimum score of 33%. However, the candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, and ST will have to score 25% to confirm their seat to take admission.

Guardians may note that for Class 2 to 8, there will be no admission test and seats will be filled depending upon the vacancy. However, for admission into Class 9, an admission test will be conducted, and a merit list will be prepared for the category separately.

KVS Class 9 admission test will be conducted for the following subjects i.e. Hindi, English, mathematics, social science, and science. The duration of the admission test will be of 3 hours The five sections will carry questions of 20 marks each i.e. a total of 100 marks.

Civil services examination 2023 third ranker Donuru Ananya Reddy, who hails from the backward Mahabubnagar district of Telangana, on Tuesday said she would like to take the administration closer to people.

Reddy said she feels “extremely grateful” and happy about securing the third position in the prestigious test, the results of which were announced on Tuesday by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).

Disagreeing with the view that the civil services examination is a hard one to crack, she said it is, however, a challenging exam and it is important to have a strategy for the preparation.

Reddy said she used to study for 6-8 hours a day for the exams but increased the study hours to 12-14 a day when the tests were round the corner.

“Most important is to have a strategy. If we have a strategy of breaking down the syllabus into parts and completing it in a timeframe, it (cracking the exam) becomes easy,” she told PTI videos.

“The only plan (after becoming a civil servant) I have is to take the administration closer to people and work in a people-centric manner,” she said.

On tips for civil services aspirants, Reddy said every exam takers should prepare their plan as per their strengths and weaknesses, without blindly following others.

“Also, don’t ever give up. This examination is full of challenges, mental or otherwise. So, keep your calm and don’t give up,” she said.

Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy congratulated the civil services exam rankers from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.

Revanth Reddy is delighted that more than 50 candidates from the two states got selected for the civil services, an official release said.

The chief minister, who also hails from Mahabubnagar district, commended Ananya Reddy for securing the third rank in the civil services exam.

AP SSC Result 2024: The Board of Secondary Education Andhra Pradesh, BSEAP can announce the AP SSC Result 2024 by 25 April 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the Class 10 board examination will be able to check their results by visiting the official website i.e. bse.ap.gov.in. 

The candidates may note that the result link will also be activated at results.bse.ap.gov.in. The board officials will announce the result by holding a press conference. 

Candidates are advised to keep their AP SSC hall ticket ready to check their results, as the credentials will be required to check the results.

According to the media reports, the Manabadi AP SSC result 2024 date and time will be announced by officials soon. The results are expected to be announced by April 25, 2024. Candidates who have appeared for the exams will be able to check their results using their login credentials.  

This year the BSEAP Class 10th examination was conducted from 18 March to 30 March 2024, across the state at various exam centres.  The SSC exam was held in a single shift i.e. from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm. For some papers, it was conducted from 9.30 am to 11.30 pm.

Around 7 lakh candidates registered for the Andhra Pradesh’s 10th board examination across the state. Students are advised to visit the official website of the board for updates related to the results.

UPSC CSE 2023: Passing Percentage of Female Candidates

In the last 5 years, the pass percentage of women in the UPSC Civil Services exam has increased. The female pass percentage was 24% in 2018 and 2019. In 2020 it reached 29%. At the same time, in 2021 it fell by 3 points to 26%. In 2022, this figure was once again at 34%. Of the 933 candidates selected last year, 320 were women.

UPSC Civil Services 2023 Results: The Union Public Service Commission has declared the results of the Civil Service Examinations 2023. Candidates who appeared for the same can check their results by visiting the official website i.e. upsc.gov.in.

According to the official notification, “A total of 1,016 candidates cleared the examination and have been recommended for different central government services.” 

The Civil Services Examination, 2023 was conducted in September and the interview for personality test was completed in January- April 2024. Now the final result has been declared and the appointments have been given for the following posts. 

This year 347 candidates from the general category, 115 candidates from EWS, 303 candidates from OBC, 165 candidates from SC, and 86 candidates from the ST category have cleared and been recommended for appointment. 

Candidates may note that the commission has kept the result of 355 recommended candidates as provisional. The marks of all the candidates who appeared in the UPSC exam will be available on the website within 15 days from the date of declaration of the result.

The appointment of various services is provided according to the number of vacancies which are reported by the government. 

This year 180 candidates have been selected for IAS service, of which 73 are from the general category, 17 from EWS, 49 from Other Backward Class, 27 from Scheduled Caste, and 14 from the Scheduled Tribe category.

Whereas 37 candidates have been selected for IFS service, of which 16 are from the general category, 4 are from EWS, 10 are from other backward classes, 5 are from Scheduled Caste, and 2 are from Scheduled Tribe category. 

With this, 200 candidates have been selected for IPS service, out of which 80 are from the general category, 20 from EWS, 55 from Other Backward Class, 32 from Scheduled Caste, and 13 from the Scheduled Tribe category. This many candidates have been selected for Central Service Group ‘A’ and ‘B’. 

In the results released by UPSC, a total of 613 candidates have been selected for Central Service Group ‘A’ and 113 candidates have been selected for Group ‘B’ Services. 

Candidates may note that UPSC has a ‘Facilitation Counter’ near the examination hall on the campus. In case of any doubt, candidates can visit the counter during working hours between 10 am to 5 pm. Candidates can also call the helpline number i.e. 23385271/ 23381125/ 23098543 or can visit the official website i.e. http//www.upsc.gov.in.

CRPF Result 2020: The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has declared the result for the Paramedical Staff recruitment examination 2020 today, 16 April. Interested candidates may download their results by visiting the official website i.e. rect.crpf.gov.in or  crpf.gov.in.

WB NMMS Results 2024: the Directorate of School Education of West Bengal has declared the results for the the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Examination (NMMSE 2023-34) for class 8 today, 15 April, along with the publication of the district-wise selection list. 

Candidates who appeared for the WB NMMS examination 2024 can now check their results by visiting the official website i.e. scholarships.wbsed.gov.in.

The Ministry of Education has established the state quota beneficiaries for West Bengal at 7,250 for the NMMS WB Result 2024. Students in Class 8 who received at least 55% of the possible points in the annual Class 7 exam were qualified to take the centrally sponsored NMMS exam. Students in the reserved category received a 5% passing mark relaxation.

The West Bengal state quota beneficiaries have been set at 7,250 by the ministry of education. Candidates for the NMMS scholarship who come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and whose family makes less than Rs 3,50,000 will be taken into consideration.

Scholarships will be awarded to students who have passed both the SAT and the Mental Ability Test (MAT). 

According to the Department of Education, West Bengal comprises 23 administrative districts along with two educational districts: Barrackpore education district, encompassing Barrackpore and Bidhannagar subdivisions, and Siliguri education district, covering the Siliguri subdivision.  

The NMMS test consisted of two components, the MAT and the SAT, with a total of 180 questions. Although there was no set syllabus, questions from Classes 7 and 8 were asked. 

 

WB NMMS Results 2024: Steps to check results 

  • Firstly, Candidates need to visit the WB NMMS official website at scholarships.wbsed.gov.in.

  • then, click on the “NMMSE-2023 District Wise Selected Candidates List” under the Notice tab displayed on the homepage. 

  • You will see a dropdown appear. displaying the district-wise selection list.

  • Click on the district you applied to for the exam.

  • Now, the selection list PDF will have name, roll number, district, school name and score obtained by the student.

  • Check using the required cridentials like roll number or name. 

  • Check the qualifying status after your name or roll number appears in the list. Lastly, download and take a printout of results for future reference.
