CBSE Class 10th, 12th results 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to declare the CBSE 10th, 12th results 2024 after May 20. The board has declared the update on the official CBSE result portal, cbseresults.nic.in. Once the results are out, the students will be able to check their results by visiting the official website i.e. cbse.gov.in. 

According to the official notice, “CBSE Board results for class X and XII are likely to be declared after 20th May 2024.”

Recently, the CBSE board clarified that a fake circular on the CBSE result date 2024 is circulating on social media and refuted all such claims regarding the declaration of CBSE Class 10, 12 results 2024. Several media reports have been claiming that CBSE Class 10, and 12 results 2024 will be announced anytime soon.

This year, the CBSE conducted its Class 10, and 12 board examinations in February, March, and April. The Class 10 exam took place from February 15 to March 13, 2024, in single shifts from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm or 12:30 pm. Around 39 lakh students have appeared for the CBSE Class 10 and 12 final exams.

The board will announce pass percentage, gender-wise result, number of candidates who have appeared and qualified in the exam, region and school-wise results, etc through a press conference. However, there will be no toppers’ lists for Class 10 or 12.

CBSE Board Result 2024: How to check the result, once released? 

  • Firstly candidates need to visit the official website i.e. (cbse.gov.in). 

  • Then, go to the results page on the homepage. 

  • Next, click on the Class 10 or 12 result link. 

  • Enter your login details like the roll number, school number and admit card ID and submit. 

  • The CBSE class 10, and 12 results 2024 will be displayed on your screen. 

  • Lastly, download and take a printout for future reference.

KSET Result 2024: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has released the results for the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET 2023). Candidates who appeared for the same can download their results by visiting the official website i.e. cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. 

According to the official notification, “The subject-wise provisional score list paper-1 and paper-2 of all the 41 subjects has been hosted on 02-05-2024 in the KEA website for the information of the candidates. Objects, if any can be mailed to keakset2023@gmail.com along with complete details on or before 10-05-2024.” 

The candidates may note that the results are published in PDF format, providing a detailed list of candidates who appeared for the exam along with their scores. This year, the KSET entrance exam was conducted on 13 January 2024 and the duration of the exam was of 2 hours. 

Candidates who qualify for the KSET – 2023 are governed by the recruitment rules and regulations stipulated for the post of Assistant Professors of concerned Universities / Colleges / Institutions (Government/ Aided /Private) of Karnataka State. 

The authority has declared that the KSET 2024 results are provisional in nature and candidates can note assume that they have qualified the same on the basis of this list only. Other than that the candidates can raise objections by emailing the complete details.


KSET result 2024: How to check the results? 

  • Firstly candidates need to visit the official website i.e. cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. 

  • Then click on the KSET subject-wise provisional score list on the home page. 

  • The score list will appear on the screen of the candidate. 

  • Check and download the score list.

CBSE Board Result 2024: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the CBSE Board Result 2024 soon. The date and time of release of CBSE Class 10 and 12 results is still awaited. Once the results are out, the students who appeared for the same will be able to check their results by visiting the official website. 

This year, CBSE conducted the Class 10th examination from 15 February to 13 March 2024 whereas the Class 12th examination was conducted from 15 February to 2 April 2024. These examinations were conducted in a single shift i.e. from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm. 

CBSE Board Result 2024: Passing marks required

Students may note that to pass the CBSE board exam they must score a minimum of 33% in each subject and maintain the overall score. However, to remove any unhealthy competition the board has decided not to release any merit list for the same.

The CBSE will release the provisional mark sheet in the online medium. The scorecard will contain detailed information like the name of students, roll number, subject-specific marks, and overall academic achievement. 

CBSE Board Result 2024: Important information 

The CBSE has declared to discontinue the tradition of announcing merit lists of top-performing students in class 10th and 12th exams. This measure aims to mitigate the prevalence of ‘Unhealthy competition’ among students. 

This means that the CBSE has decided not to reveal the names of top-performing students. Instead, the board will issue information like the number of students, pass rate, gender-specific results, and others.

Last year, in 2023 CBSE Class 10th and 12th results were announced on May 12. The overall pass percentage of Class 10 was 93.12 percent, and Class 12 was 87.33 percent. For Class 12, a total of 16,60,511 candidates appeared, and 14,50,174 candidates passed the examination. For Class 10, 21,65,805 candidates appeared, and 20,16,779 candidates passed the exam.

GUJCET Result 2024: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, (GUJCET) Gandhinagar is anticipated to announce the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2024 result today, 2 May, 2024. 

 

Candidates awaiting their GUJCET entrance exam result can check and download it from the official website at (gseb.org), once released. 

 

The GUJCET 2024 exam was conducted on 31 March, 2024 for admission into BTech and BPharm programmes offered by the Gujarat education board.

Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2024: The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has released the 2nd PUC revaluation and totaling result 2024. Students who appeared for the same can visit the official website i.e. kseab.karnataka.gov.in to check their scores.  

Students may note that they will require their login credentials like registration number and stream to log into the website to check the 2nd PUC revaluation result 2024.  According to the official data, the overall pass percentage for Karnataka’s 2nd PUC result stood at 81.15%. A Vidyalakhsmi tops the exams with 598 marks.  

The board conducted the exam from 29 April to 16 May 2024 and the results for the same were released on 10 April 2024. The candidates who were not satisfied with their scores were allowed to submit their applications for re-evaluation.

Candidates who have appeared for the examination and are awaiting their Punjab class 8th or 12th can now check and download it by visiting the official wesbite at psebdotacdotin. 

The result for the PSEB 12th class 2024 was 93.04 percent. This year boys have secured the top three positions in the 12th class result.

JAC Class 12 Result 2024 Declared: The class 12 results of the science, commerce, and arts stream examination conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) were declared on Tuesday with 85.48 percent of students clearing the test.

JAC chairman Anil Mahto declared the results in the presence of state school education and literacy department secretary Uma Shankar Singh.

Mahto said that 72.70 percent of students in science, 90.60 percent in commerce, and the highest 93.16 percent of students in arts passed the examination.

Over 3.44 students were enrolled for the examinations, which were held in February this year. More than 2.98 lakh students cleared the examinations.

Sneha, a student of Ursline Inter College Ranchi, emerged as state topper in science stream by scoring 491 marks out of 500, while Pratibha Saha, student of Urline Inter College Ranchi, ranked first in state in commerce stream with 474 marks out of 500. In the arts stream, Zeenat Parween from Government Plus-2 High School, Kanke, emerged state topper by obtaining 472 marks out of 500.

The results, however, dropped by around three percent compared to the previous year. In 2023, overall results in all three streams were 88.67 percent in 2023.

Girls have outshone in two streams—arts and commerce, while boys outperformed girls by a negligible margin in the science stream. Girls’ pass percentages in Arts and Commerce were at 94.22 percent and 93.46 percent respectively compared to boys whose pass percentages were at 91.68 percent and 88.40 percent respectively.

In the Science stream, 72.72 percent of boys passed the examination compared to 72.67 percent of girls.

“In the Science stream, the results of physics and chemistry were not satisfactory. We need to work in these subjects to improve the results in the future,” Singh said.

Speaking about the overall decline in results, he said that when the pattern changes, it also reflects in results. “A slight three per cent results dropped compared to the previous year, as the examinations were not taken in OMR sheets this time,” he said.
