Maharashtra HSC, SSC Supplementary Results 2024: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released the Supplementary results for the SSC and HSC July/August 2024 Supplementary examination. The candidates who appeared for the same can visit the official websites i.e. mahresult.nic.in or mahahsscboard.in. to check or download their results. 

Maharashtra Class 10 supplementary examination was conducted from July 16, 2024, to July 30, 2024, whereas the Class 12 supplementary examination was conducted from July 16, 2024, to August 8, 2024, for both general and bifocal courses.

For Class 10, the examination was held in two shifts- first shift from 11 am to 2 pm and second shift from 3 pm to 5 pm. For Class 12, the examination was held in two shifts- from 11 am to 2 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm. The total pass percentage of HSC Supplementary exams and SSC Supplementary exams were 32.46 and 36.78%, respectively.

UPTAC Seat Allotment Result: APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) is going to release the round 3 seat allotment result for the Technical Admission Counselling (UPTAC) BTech 2024 counselling today. ICMAI CMA June Result: The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI) has declared the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) June 2024 results for Intermediate and Final courses today on August 23. After the declaration of these results, 4,866 candidates completed the intermediate course of the institute.

CMA Final Result Passing Percentage In the final exam, 8,643 candidates appeared for Group-3, out of which 1,243 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 14.38%. For Group 4, 4,530 candidates took the exam, out of which 635 passed, resulting in a pass percentage of 14.02%. As a result of these results, 1,315 candidates completed the final course of the institute.

NEET PG Results 2024 update: While the official date for the announcement has not yet been confirmed, it is anticipated that the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) will soon publish the NEET PG 2024 results on its official websites (natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in). The results will be provided in a PDF format, which will include the scores of all candidates who participated in the examination. Individual scorecards will be available a few days after the initial results are released. Additionally, the NBEMS will disclose the NEET PG cut-off marks at the same time as the results. The examination was conducted on August 11 in two separate shifts. For context, the previous year’s NEET PG exam was held on March 5, with results made public on March 14. Consequently, candidates can anticipate the release of the NEET PG 2024 results in the near future.

NEET PG Results 2024: Tie-breaking rule 
In case two or more candidates obtain the same marks in the PG medical entrance exam, the NBEMS will follow the tie-breaking rule i.e. 
Candidates having a greater number of correct responses in the question paper will be placed in a better merit position. 
Candidates having a lesser number of negative responses in the question paper will be placed in a better merit position 
Older candidates will be given preference. 
“A candidate securing higher aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS professional exams will be placed at a better merit position. In case of Indian Citizens/ OCI who have obtained their Primary Medical Qualifications from outside India, their FMG Examination marks (in percentage) shall be considered instead of aggregate marks (in percentage) in all MBBS Professional Examination”.

DU UG Admission 2024: The University of Delhi is all set to release the list of vacant seats for round 2 of undergraduate admissions (DU UG admissions) 2024 today. The candidates who participated in this can visit the CSAS portal- admission.uod.ac.in. to check their seat allotment result. 

The results of the second round of seat allotment will be released on 25 August 2024, and candidates must confirm their acceptance of the allotted seat by 27 August 2024. Colleges will conduct verification and approve admissions on 29  August 2024, with the final deadline for fee payment is 30 August 2024.

The candidates may note that there are around 71,600 undergraduate seats at DU colleges. The allocation of seats in the first round is 36 percent higher than the total seats as the university aims to fill the seats optimally to begin the academic session on August 29.

According to the official notice, “In the first allocation round, the University has decided to do extra allocations to fill the seats optimally so that the Academic Session may begin on August 29, 2024. Overall, 97,387 allocations have been made in the First Round. This excludes allocation to Performance-based programs and Supernumerary quotas of CW, ECA, Sports and Ward, and Christian candidates.”
