TNPSC Group 4 Result 2024 update: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will declare the TNPSC Group 4 Result 2024 soon. According to media reports, TNPSC Group 4 Result 2024 is exepcted to be declared in the last week of September. However, the official notification in connection with the TNPSC Group 4 Result 2024 release date is awaited. Once released candidates, who appeared for the Combined Civil Services Examination – IV, will be able to check their results on the official TNPSC website (tnpsc.gov.in or tnpscexams.in). 

The TNPSC Group 4 recruitment process aims to fill over 6,000 vacancies across various departments within the Tamil Nadu government. While the TNPSC Group 4 written examination was conducted on June 9, 2024, it consisted of two sections.

Part A

Tamil Eligibility-cum Scoring Test, comprising 100 questions for a total of 150 marks.

Part B

General Studies (75 questions) and Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (25 questions) for a total of 150 marks.

 

In a bid to qualify, candidates must secure a minimum of 40% (60 marks) in Part A. Only then will their Part B answer sheets be evaluated. Candidates should note that the provisional answer key for the exam was released on the commission’s website on June 18, 2024.

UGC NET Result 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the NTA UGC NET Result 2024 and the UGC NET Final Answer Key 2024 on the official website soon. The result and the scorecards will be issued on the official website i.e. ugcnet.nta.ac.in.  NTA has already released the provisional answer keys.

The UGC NET exams were conducted from 27 August to 4 September 2024. The provisional answer keys for the exams held on 21, 22, and 23 August 2024 were released earlier. The candidates were allowed to raise objections on payment of ₹200 per question. Subject experts will review the challenges, and if they find them valid, the final answer key will be revised accordingly.

For the UGC NET exam, two marks will be awarded for each correct answer, with no negative marking for incorrect responses. Also, no marks will be given for the questions left unanswered, unattempt, or marked. If a question was deemed incorrect and removed from consideration, two marks were awarded to those who had attempted it. 

Once, the results are released, the candidates will have to use their login credentials such as application number and date of birth to check the scores.
