In the WB HS board results of 2024, 40.92% of students attained scores of 60% or higher, and 22.38% of students achieved even higher scores, reaching 70% or more. Furthermore, 8.47% of students excelled with scores exceeding 80%. Among them, a remarkable 1.23% achieved exceptional results, scoring 90% or above.
In the WB HS board exams, a total of 7,64,440 students enrolled, while 7,55,324 appeared for the exams. The overall pass percentage stood at 90%.
Avik Das has topped the West Bengal HS Board, scoring 496 marks out of 500, and has secured 99.2%.
West Bengal HS Result 2024: Topper’s list
Avik Das from Alipurduar secured the top position in the WB HS result 2024 with an outstanding score of 496 marks, achieving a remarkable percentage of 99.2%.
Saumyadeep Saha achieved the second position with a score of 495 marks, obtaining an impressive percentage of 99%.
Abhishek Gupta from Malda secured the third position with a score of 494 marks, attaining a commendable percentage of 98.8%.
Two female students shared the fourth position: Pratichi Roy Talukdar from Cooch Behar and Sneha Ghosh from Chandannagar, both scoring 493 marks, achieving a percentage of 98.6%.
Furthermore, seven students achieved the fifth position, each scoring 492 marks.
In the WB HS result 2024, the sixth position is shared by eight students, each achieving a score of 491 marks, corresponding to a commendable percentage of 98.2%.
Ranking seventh are five students, all scoring 490 marks, with an impressive overall percentage of 98%.
The eighth position is held by six students, each scoring 489 marks, reflecting a notable percentage of 97.8%.
Ranking ninth are eleven students, all scoring 488 marks, with a commendable percentage of 97.6%.
Finally, the tenth position is shared by sixteen students, each scoring 487 marks, achieving an overall percentage of 97.4%.
West Bengal HS Result 2024: Gender-wise statistics
In the WB HS results 2024, out of the 58 toppers, 35 are male and 23 are female students.
Compared to last year’s pass percentage of 89.25%, this year saw a slight increase, reaching an impressive 90% overall pass rate.
Male students achieved a pass percentage of 92.32%, while female students achieved 88.18%.
